My Earth Day/birthday weekend is off to a good start! (In case you're wondering, I'm younger than Earth Day but old enough to remember Woodsy Owl.)

I got my first present in the mail yesterday from my aunt -- and she did good! I've got a new, green place to keep my green. I've been coveting her Vy & Elle wallet for some time now, so she picked up on my not-so-subtle signals and got me one. I love repurposed products that don't look repurposed. In this case, if you aren't already familiar with Vy & Elle, you'd have no idea that their line of eco-urban bags are made from recycled billboard vinyl. Because no part of a billboard can be used twice, each one is different. Mine is red, yellow, black and white -- very rock n' roll.

You can buy them online at Greenloop, and I found this one on sale for only $16 through the Vy & Elle website, which appears to have merged with a company called Blowfish.

I speak from the receiving end of personal experience when I say that this is a great gift for that eco-conscious, fashion forward gal pal. Could even be a cool bridesmaids' gift!

When my mom asked what I wanted for my birthday last month, I didn't have to think very hard -- I just sent her a long list of potential suggestions from my Etsy favorites. And then promptly forgot what I'd sent, until this came in the mail:

Blue Mountain Butterfly Display, $40

Isn't it gorgeous? It's a perfectly captured Blue Mountain Butterfly, framed by Biologist/Entomologist Kevin Clarke of Bug Under Glass. He only uses farm-raised insects, and each piece has a replica vintage museum label (signed and numbered) on the back with detailed info about the species, so you can feel like a true collector.

I can't stop admiring my little butterfly, and I already have my eye on a few more to add to my collection: the Charles Darwin Callithea, or maybe the Yellow Migrant Sea Monster.

I lurrrve the look of mid-century modern furniture. It's everywhere these days, especially in the blogosphere, but unless you stumble upon a great deal when you're thrift shopping or cruising Craigslist, it's hard to find mod pieces that don't break the bank.

I have been somewhat obsessed with miso soup since I first tried it years and years ago. It's a staple on my "comfort foods" list, because it's warm, it's delicious, and it's easy on the tummy. I order it every single time I have sushi, and thanks to one of my new co-workers, I now have a delicious non-restaurant version that I keep stocked at my desk for working lunches.

I could eat this stuff every. single. day.

I buy mine by the cart-full at Trader Joe's, where you can get it even cheaper, and it won't go bad--just add water and toss in the microwave for a little taste of Asian food heaven. But the best part is that it comes in a sturdy, biodegradable bowl, which makes it yummy AND good for the environment. Win!

Since we've started our son on solids, feeding him and the maintenance of all of the gear that comes with the territory takes up a pretty large collective chunk of my day. I actually prefer paying three times as much for the WeeGo glass baby bottles because they have fewer parts than the Dr. Brown's bottles, which means they take less time to wash (plus, they're so pretty!).

I'm always on the lookout for any products that make "have-to's" feel more like "want-to's" and the latest addition to this genre is the Grass Countertop Drying Rack from Boon. It's way easier on the eyes than its white plastic counterparts (pun intended). And I actually look forward to washing Jed's bottles and spoons because it's fun to plant them into the grass like croquet wickets.

I found mine at Target but you can buy it online through Land of Nod (one of my all-time favorite site for kids' stuff) or directly from the Boon Inc. website ($19.99 at all three places). It also makes a great shower gift. The recipient might not realize right away that it's a drying rack, but that's pretty much the whole point, isn't it?

Now that I'm a homeowner again (yay!), I'm slowly making my way through our house, painting the walls (I couldn't stand that our entire house was beige--I need color!), and trying to thoughtfully choose where we're going to hang our favorite things. Lately, though, I'm hoping to get rid of (donate or sell) some of the old prints that we've had since college, which has left me with some open wall space--and has sent me on the hunt for some new pieces to adorn my naked walls.

Here's one recent discovery: Tina's Baskets. Her huge, woven wallhangings are pretty mesmerizing and have great texture.

Lindsey Beth and I both lurrrve a good bird motif--but neither of us really like birds in actuality. I mean, I like to eat chicken, and I think cardinals and robins are pretty and all, but I also think pigeons are like rodents with wings.

Lurrrving Land of Nod's Retro Rocker

Everyone who comes over to our house to check out the nursery tells me that I need a rocker. Unfortunately, we simply don't have the space... especially for one of those gliders with the ottomans, which frankly make me seasick anyhow. If it were at all humanly possible to squeeze a rocker into our humble abode, it would be this Retro Rocker from Land of Nod:

It reminds me of the chairs from my pediatrician's waiting room. If I had known then how "retro" they would be now, I would have salvaged one and added the rocking part on myself. Even if I weren't having a baby, I'd want one of these!

I first found Land of Nod when looking for children's music. If you're a music snob like me, you'll appreciate their non-saccharine selections such as lullabye renditions of Bob Marley, U2 and Coldplay. Under the Crate and Barrel umbrella, Nod's furniture and accessories have the same classic-meets-modern clean feel of its parent company. A good SAT analogy would be:

I'm always redecorating in my head, even if it doesn't translate into my actual living space (there's actually duct tape patching our leather couch). Being that I spend a good part of my day in my home office, I want to be a clean, zenful, inspiring place. Right now it's a feng shui nightmare, but that doesn't keep me from coveting the Go-Cart Desk from CB2.

I like its minimal, industrial design and the size is perfect for my small workspace. Plus, less surface area means less potential for clutter, at least in theory. It originally caught my eye this summer when I first bookmarked it because it came in this eye-popping kiwi color. Doesn't look like the green is still available but I'm hoping that by the time I actually get around to buying a new desk that there will be some color options. If not, I can always add a splash of color with their coordinating trig file cabinet:

I am, admittedly, a big fan of coffee. I drink it straight up, caffeinated. (No sugar or cream, thankyouverymuch.)

My husband is a wine expert, so drinking almost any kind of beverage can sometime take on an added level of analysis, although I certainly don't want to talk about the "bouquet" of my beloved coffee before I've had at least a mug-full to wake me up.

As I sat in the waiting room at an urgent care on Sunday sans air-conditioning with my left eye watering and twitching, I wondered to myself why I even bother with contact lenses. Some of the most fabulously fashionable people I know (Lisa Loeb, anyone?) have made their eyeglasses part of their trademark look. I love vintage clothes, so why not give vintage eyewear a try?

Don't be fooled by the name of their website -- EyeGlass Boy offers an array of vintage glasses for men and women. Plus, they are very reasonable compared to the designer frames you see at your optician's office. Of course you don't have the benefit of trying them on before you buy them, but if you can return them within 10 days or if you're feeling daring...

I am so excited about these rechargeable (and therefore eco-friendly) batteries from USBcell -- they're the only ones I've seen that don't require some sort of clunky, easily-lost charger. Instead, you plug them into your computer's USB port, and voila! Charged!

They come in AA, 9-volt, and even some cell phone/device batteries (how awesome to be able to leave the cell phone charger at home when you travel?). Plus, it doesn't hurt that they're pretty.

Puppy lurrrve: The Eco Nap from West Paw

Having a home with all hardwood floors and two big dogs means a lot of sweeping and mopping, but it also means I need to make sure my pups have a cushiony oasis where they can rest without putting any strain on their hips. But every time I buy a dog bed with a cover that's washable and easy to remove, it's never easy to put back on again. That's why I lurrrve the Eco Nap from West Paw Design. It comes in several cool color combos and I can throw the whole thing in the wash when it gets icky. And in between washes, it lays flat enough to vacuum. Not only is it great for my dogs -- it's also great for the planet, made from post consumer recycled soda pop bottles. It's amazing that something so soft comes from plastic bottles (a large mat saves 26.45 bottles from landfill limbo). We've had ours for almost two years and it's still in great shape... and I can't say that about most things that come into everyday contact with our dogs.

My latest online shopping obsession has less to do with what I want to buy for myself and more to do with what I want for our baby. If I could lock myself out of our Target registry, I would add hours of productivity to my work week. I love Target for necessities, but I'm also loving all of the little boutique-y luxury items. You know, the ones that make great gifts but you could never rationalize buying for yourself.

I'm in lurrrve with lots of good stuff at babyearth.com, but am hesitant to register with a website as I have to pay for any returns, which can be a hassle. It's amazing what they've come up with in the past 30 years (since I was a baby). One of my favorite items that I've seen both online and in person at friends' baby showers is the Cloud b Sleep Sheep.

This is their "on-the-go" model, which is made smaller for travel, which I will probably do more of in theory than reality, but still. It has four soothing nature sounds and a sleep timer so you can set it to go off in either 23 or 45 minutes from when you put your little one to bed. Hopefully, that will be enough time to get him to sleep! If this doesn't work, I'll have to resort to singing to him... and nobody wants that.

I am seriously in lurrrve with the Freedom Lip Gloss from Revolution Organics. I snagged one (the bright red shade, called "Freedom") from a fellow beauty junkie who happens to have a fantastic online store for organic beauty products, and I am smitten!

I have really full lips, so I tend to shy away from bright lip colors, because I think it makes my mouth look rather clownish, but this fiercely red gloss is tame with a light application, and can be layered for a more colorful pout.

Plus, it's organic, comes in (adorable) recyclable packaging, and leaves my lips super soft.

Now I want one in every shade.

I first fell for Angela Adams when I found her amazing collection of rugs, but it's her handbags and paper goods that have kept me entwined in this wanton retail relationship. All of my bags are large enough to hold my entire life, but sometimes when I go out, I don't want all of that excess baggage. I'm also past the point of comfortably fitting the "bare necessities" into my back pocket (and husband's pockets). Enter the new Lulu Mini Tote. Craving a Pickle.

Everyone says when you're pregnant, you'll crave crazy things like pickles and ice cream. I enjoyed my first taste of bacon ice cream last week (so freakin' good), but the only Pickle I've wanted since I got pregnant is one of these:

All of the PPB bags I've seen in stores were made of "dry clean only" fabrics, which in my mind don't mesh well with babies. But in my search, I found their Glazed by Petunia option, made of glazed, wipeable canvas. Much more my style. And then, with a little help from my friends, I decided on the Touring Tote in the Trotting in Tiergarten pattern (say that five times fast). My first baby purchase! It's so adorable that I'm tempted to wear it now as a handbag... but I will wait.

Let me count the ways:

1. Orla Kiely for Target- As you may know, I adore Orla (Huz once rightfully accused me of picking out our home color scheme based on the colors on my Orla Kiely handbag). Now that my wallet's a tad tighter, I can't afford everything Orla, and was so excited to see she's joined the "design for everyone" movement. I bought four of her melamine dinner plates and four of her salad plates. Who cares what your food looks like when it's served on such lurrrvely patterns? With my cooking, I need all the distractions I can get! They were out of the mugs and bowls and only had one of each plate style left, so I got one of each for a super colorful table:

2. Target Home Organic Sheets - Even though they had 450 thread count sets for about the same price, I opted for the greener and softer 250 thread count organic sheet set in white (which is really an off-white). You can't beat the comfort of organic cotton, plus they were on special for less than $50 for the queen set (regular price online is $49.99):

3. Greenroom Eco File Folders - I work from home and little things like pretty patterns for my folders and notepads make mundane tasks a little more doable. Plus, it's nice to know that I'm filing away my priceless thoughts in products made from recyclable materials and non-toxic soy-based inks. Unfortunately, I can't find these on the Target site, which leads me to believe they're in-store only. But it's worth the trip:

Last week, I got a box full of goodies from Working Class Studio at SCAD (the Savannah College of Art & Design). I used to live in Savannah, so I know all about SCAD and how awesome it is--and how it has transformed Savannah into a little Mecca for all things artsy.

The one thing I really, really miss about Savannah is the shopping: in particular, The Paris Market & Brocante and @Home. But I always loved poking into the student shop at SCAD, and I've always enjoyed the Working Class Studio line.

Check them out! I am coveting these lampshades, and those fridge magnets are going up on my fridge today!

This is a product I can personally vouch for. It's Dr. Hauschka Hand Cream, and it's fantastic.

It's also pretty expensive, at $22.95 for a 1.7-oz. tube.

But! It's not tested on animals, is all organic, and--this is why I love it so dearly--you can put it on your hands, and it immediately soaks in without leaving your hands greasy. So if you sit at a computer all day like I do, you can put it on and not have to wait 10 minutes for your hands to stop sliding all over your keyboard.

I might call it the perfect hand cream, but I'll wait for it to go on sale before I go that far.

UPDATE: OK, so I've had this stuff for about a month now, and I'm officially hooked. I've decided it's worth the price, and when my tube is all used up (which is taking a lot longer than I thought; you don't have to use much of this stuff at a time), I'm definitely going to buy a new one.

Have you seen the new iPod shuffle? It's so teensy that you might have to look a little bit closer... but this baby holds as much as my old school Nano and it talks. With the push of a button, it will tell you what song you're listening to and who's performing it. Plus, unlike its predecessor where you're at the mercy of its random selection, the new shuffle allows you to create playlists (no more Dido popping up and ruining the momentum of your run).

Apple will never cease to amaze and tempt me with their cutting edge awesomeness. Conveniently, my birthday is next month. Although I already got an iPhone as an "early birthday present." Guess this will have to go on my wish list.

I've been browsing the goodies at 1stdibs.com for a while now, debating about whether or not it was worthy of being Lurrrved. I've found many fantastic (and expensive) pieces on the site that I would love to have in my home, but my favorite part of the site is the Saturday Sale -- every Saturday morning at 8am EST, 1stDibs.com posts items that have gone on sale over the past week. Most of them are still pretty pricey, but the site is so well organized (and the pictures are so gorgeous), that it's the perfect accompaniment to your first cup of Saturday morning coffee.

I adore magazines. Sure, sometimes they're not exactly what I would call feminist, but the ones I continually go back to (Self, Real Simple, skirt!), are magazines that feed my soul--while also giving me new things to covet.

I may have a new one to add to that list, after a glance through the premiere issue of Boho. It promotes itself as "100% recycled, re-styled, re-used," and it's printed on 100% post-consumer paper, processed chlorine free and recycled certified. Wow. Here's a magazine that practices what it preaches!

The content is all about empowerment (although not of the in-your-face variety), but also includes wellness, beauty, fashion, and lifestyles. Not only that, but it's really pretty, too.

While on sabbatical in Colorado ("on sabbatical" meaning unemployed), I once wore the same pair of pants for five straight days. I know. I'm gross.

Etsy is one of my favorite things -- I spend a lot of time on that site, cruising around for new, fun things. One of my other favorite things is jewelry, especially anything with aquamarine, which is my birthstone. It's also the centerpiece of my favorite piece of jewelry of all time, my engagement ring:

I'm a fan of simple, classic jewelry. I'm not big on the trendy stuff, because I also have expensive tastes, and that means most of the jewelry I buy has to be more of an investment than something that will go perfectly with my newest favorite outfit. I stumbled across Kate O'Brien's work on flickr today, and was instantly smitten. Her photography is playful, thoughtful, and imaginative--and the attention to detail is unmistakable. This shot is the one that originally caught my eye:
It's called "Jeune Fille délivrant un oiseau de sa cage," and I think it's gorgeous. But then, scrolling through Kate's other images on flickr, I found this one ("Hail Mary"), and I was officially hooked.

A good friend sent me a package a few months ago...apparently I had whined about wanting to try dry shampoo enough times that she decided to put me out of my misery.

God love her for it, because this shampoo has changed my life. I'd tried the Bumble & Bumble dry shampoo a few years ago--it's a powder and comes in white (for blondes) or darker shades for darker hair--and while I'd liked it OK, I found it difficult to apply the right amount. I either ended up with not enough powder and really greasy hair, or squeezed out WAY too much and ended up with white locks. Plus it didn't smell very nice.

This stuff, however, is going to be a regular purchase from now on:

It's a spray formula, which means it's much easier to apply evenly and focus where I need a little more absorption--and for me, since it's a daily struggle to get out of bed in the morning, I was desperate for a way to keep my must-be-washed-every-single-day hair from looking like a greasy mop on the days when I barely managed to find a somewhat non-wrinkled outfit and make it to work on time with my teeth brushed.

It doesn't smell great, but it's no worse than your average hairspray--and the smell fades as soon as the spray dries.

When my vacuum died last week, I thought, Oh well, another one bites the dust.

At last count, my household has gone through four vacuums in the past five years. The sad part about that is that in the past five years, we've lived in one house with carpeting: the one we live in now, that we moved into in February. So those vacuums died after not being able to handle the amount of dog hair that accumulates on rugs and hardwood floors when you have two golden retriever mixes.

On Friday, I dug out the Phillips-head screwdriver, pried off the vacuum backing, and checked the vacuum's belt, figuring maybe this time it would be an easy fix. It wasn't. There is something wrong with the motor, and for a vacuum we spent about $80 (an estimation), I don't see it being worth a trip to a repair store. It's just going to break again.

For years, I've been dreaming about owning a Dyson, but have never been brave enough to make the investment. I mean, they cost $500 brand new! But then I added up the approximate amount we've spent on vacuums over the past five years, and I realized we'd been spending more money on vacuums than we would if we invested in one that was supposed to last for five years. And I have several friends who have Dysons and swear by them (seriously, people swear by this vaccum), but, still -- $500 for a vacuum?

Yesterday was do-or-die: I hadn't vacuumed in a week, and the house was starting to get hairy. I went to Target, expecting to plunk down another $150 or so on a new vacuum...and found that the Dyson I'd been coveting, the Animal, was on clearance. I emailed my husband, we checked our bank accounts...and decided to go for it.

I was starting to freak out as I reached the check-out counter, thinking about what the grand total of my Target shopping spree would be (of course I also needed to get necessities like dog food and shampoo), when a woman walked by, glanced at my cart, and said over her shoulder, "You will LOVE that vacuum cleaner. Seriously. It is worth every penny. I wish I had two of them."

That was all it took.

I got home yesterday, put my new toy together (can a vacuum be called a toy?), and took it for a test drive on my week's-worth-of-dog-hair carpet...and it was awesome. So far the best part is that you don't have to bend down to turn it on, empty the canister, or even plug in the attachments. And it has an extra-long cord so I don't continually have to plug and unplug. I also suspect it picked up dog hair that my now-deceased vacuum had been missing for months.

The Dyson Animal is the vacuum most recommended for houses with pets--so I'm crossing my fingers that my little furry boys' shedding won't prove too much for it to handle. So far, I'm impressed. Will I still be impressed a year from now? We shall see.

Last night I dreamt that I was hanging out with friends, and all of the sudden I looked down and my shirt was gone. I felt exposed, embarrassed, and a tad slutty. But no one else seemed to mind so I just laughed it off. I've interpreted this dream to mean that my wardrobe needs a new top (stretching here, but have to rationalize yet another purchase).

I've been daydreaming about having Kim of Good Stock make books for me for about a year now. I'd like to rummage through the old black and white photos stashed in a dresser in my grandmother's house and make a family book of "entertaining" -- photos from parties. I'd like a book about my grandfather, who I never got to meet. I'd like a book about how my parents met and fell in love. I'd like one dedicated to my friendships.

I think, I'd just like to get started on something that lets me hang on to my past in a concrete way. And Kim's books are a beautiful way to do it.

Each is one-of-a-kind, completely unique, and lovingly handmade by Kim. I think the results are pretty stunning -- these put those self-made books that are all the rage to absolute shame. Yes, they are more expensive, but these are basically heirlooms in print form. And I am dying for one (or ten) of my own.

Ever since I first discovered AB Sutton, I've wanted to buy something from them. I love their custom wallets and adore their Moleskine notebook covers (how could I not?), but what I really want most is one of their iPod cases.

When I was planning my wedding, I lusted after Jennifer Behr's gorgeous bridal hair accessories. (Check out this one--it's my current favorite.) Her stuff is pricey, but so beautiful, it's like jewelry for your hair.

Now that I've celebrated my first wedding anniversary and wedding planning is firmly behind me (and thank heavens for that; I was a horrible bride), I find myself drawn to Jennifer's fantastic hair creations that are worthy of Carrie Bradshaw, but not so kooky that I would feel ridiculous wearing them. On the right occasion, of course.

As a girl who just got back from a vacation that prominently featured beer (lots of beer) and a lot of hearty food like Irish stew, I will not be attempting to squeeze my butt into a bathing suit any time soon. However, I stumbled onto these handmade Jessie Williams suits today at Edge of Urge and had to share.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at La Villa del Valle in beautiful Mexican wine country exactly one year ago. It was spectacular -- the food was incredible, the wines were delicious, the scenery was beautiful...but the true gem was this little six-room bed-and-breakfast.

The proprietors, Phil and Eileen, took wonderful care of us -- they even went horseback riding with us! The villa's breakfast each morning was a hearty breakfast of eggs, tortillas, refried beans, and fresh avocado, complete with homemade granola, and a freshly-squeeze juice (strawberry, melon...you name it). The dinner service was just as lovely, and we often felt as if we'd chosen to spend our honeymoon in Tuscany instead of in Mexico.

If you're looking for a European destination but don't have the budget for European prices (or just want something different), I highly recommend our little villa. It won't be a well-kept secret for long.

Last night I got to see a preview showing of the Sex and the City movie. I won't give anything away, but it. was. AWESOME. I expected to be disappointed and was oh so pleasantly surprised.

Of course the best part was the fashion. Everything else aside, I could have watched the movie on mute. My favorite trend was the studded belt. I've always loved this look with my snowboarding pants, but Carey sports it in SATC with flowery dresses and pearls (see center pic below). Lurrrving this look:

I tried Bare Escentuals a few years ago when I first heard about mineral makeup. I liked it, but the girl at the store who "helped" me match the foundation to my skin color did a terrible job, and I ended up buying a foundation that was probably two shades too dark--which meant I could only use it in the summertime, when I didn't wear much makeup anyway. Then, the kabuki brush I'd bought to apply the makeup fell apart. I wasn't exactly a fan of mineral makeup, and I finally tossed that original foundation after it sat in my makeup bag for a year without being touched.

Fast-forward to 2008, and I'm giving it a second chance. A few months ago I interviewed Leslie Blodgett, the company's CEO, and she was amazing. Plus, her skin (and her PR manager's skin) looked incredible. Then, my boss started using Bare Escentuals, and while I've always thought she had great skin (she takes good care of it), she was raving about the makeup and had made some serious investments in it. As editors of a women's magazine, we get sent makeup samples all the time, and we're rarely loyal to one brand, so for my boss to be using almost exclusively one line of makeup is kind of a big deal. (Kelly was especially coveting this kit with the special brush.)

This weekend, I decided to give Bare Escentuals another shot--I went out and bought the Getting Started kit (available here on the BE web site with a few extras for $75; the kit I bought was $60 at Sephora). The kit came with a DVD for application tips, which I watched yesterday for a little refresher on the swirl-tap-buff method of mineral makeup applications.

Today is Day No. 1 with my new makeup, and aside from going a little overboard with my application of the warmth all-over face color, I was surprisingly pleased with the results. The brushes seem to be of much higher quality than the one I bought a few years back. I even went without the one product I never, ever leave the house without (because it's not a true test-drive if I don't at least try BE as a concealer)--my Alison Raffaele concealer (which I still highly recommend).

I'll be continuing my test drive of my new Bare Escentuals products for the next few months, and I'll keep you posted on whether I can tell that my skin is healing (I battle adult acne and usually lose). I'm not quite ready to invest further in Bare Escentuals, but I must say, the overnight Rare Minerals skin revival treatment has me curious.

Trendwatch: Sporty Chic

In all honesty, I must admit that I bought this bottle of Lorina Sparkling French Berry Lemonade because I thought the bottle would make a pretty vase for the Gerbera daisies growing in my garden.

Then I tasted the lemonade, and I have to say: this stuff is good. Like, super good. Of course, it's not without calories (my little bottle had 130 calories per serving, 1.5 servings to the bottle), but it doesn't have funky preservatives or ingredients that you can't pronounce. Just carbonated water, sugar, citric acid, natural lemon and strawberry flavor, and grape skin extract for color. Lovely. It would be even better with vodka, I think...

It's awesome. And I attribute this all to Kiehl's. I've used their eye cream for seven years. I started with their Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado but have since switched to their Abyssine Eye Cream. It's virtually weightless yet incredibly moisturizing. And when you buy a product from the Kiehl's website, they let you choose any three samples to be shipped with your purchase. I've had some of their samples last a week, which makes for a fair trial period and great value!

Southerners always seem to be in the mood for sweet tea, but since I'm a transplant, iced tea is a seasonal craving for me -- and I don't like mine too sweet. (Ssh! Don't tell. I still live in the South, after all.)

My craving is starting to get more pronounced, though, especially after finding this pitcher on Rare Device.

Loving Laura James Jewelry

I know I speak for both Lindsey AND myself when I say that Laura James Jewelry is one of Lurrrve's favorite things ever, and definitely worthy of being our first post!

I bought myself a gorgeous pair of Laura James earrings with vintage chandelier crystals and teeny aquamarine drops (aquas are my absolute favorite gemstone) a few months ago, and I can't wear them without having people stop me to ask where they're from.
